NATAL
BULL TERRIER CLUB
Championship Show - 07.00.2007
Kearsney
College
is a super venue and the weather was superb, as was
the after show lunch - a big thank you to the committee.
The
great pity was the low entries over the entire weekend. I had 22 entries,
but some of the other shows only had 10 or 11.
Nevertheless
my CC & BOB winner was Carradice Obelix of Tintin
handled by Wynand Lourens. He is a fairly large upstanding dog with a
powerful head a little more finish would have completed the picture but he
has very good bone and substance with lovely long neck flowing into good
shoulders and a short back. His hindquarters are very good and he moved
parallel with drive. He also won the Best Mover award. It’s
a pity that this was only a 1 point CC
.
RCC
Dog was the Puppy Dog - Natuli Paramount who has a very long
well turned and filled head which I would prefer to be a little broader
for a dog. He has good substance and bone for a puppy with a level
backline just spoilt by a high set tail. His movement is definitely not
his forte.
2
Point CC Bitch - Nexcon Eskie of Rimich – A very well balanced bitch
with a very good well filled head lovely neck flowing into good shoulders
short back with a good front and hindquarters and her movement was very
good both ways.
RCC
Bitch- Jococla Black Pegeen. She is black Brindle Puppy Bitch with a
lovely broad gently turned head correct bite and very good substance and
bone. She is very well balanced with well turned stifles her front still
needs to tighten up a little more and her hind movement was good. This is
one to watch in future and she also won the Best Puppy and Best
Coloured Bull Terrier.
Best
Head award went to Ch Gwaza Orion.
