- Rules: |

A) |
Only paid up members of the club, residing in the area
of jurisdiction of the Western Cape Provincial Council will be
eligible for participation for these awards. The dog with which
the member participates must be registered in the name of the club
member. If a person becomes a member during the year or acquires a
dog during the year, points can only be accumulated from the time
of his membership or the time of acquiring the dog. |

B) |
The period for allocation of points will be from
February each year until October of the same year. (A
Cape
show calendar year). |

C) |
For
Best Puppy and Best Junior the period of points allocation will be
from February each year until October of the same year. |
|
D) |
For
Best Veteran the period of points allocation will also be from
February each year until October of the same year. |
|
E) |
For the interclub representatives of the Club, the
points will be calculated up to the last show before the Inter
Club Competition. The committee will have the right to choose
winners of the above awards of the previous year or any worthy dog
and bitch at their discretion, if it can be for the benefit of the
club. |

F) |
The Committee will appoint a scrutinizer who will in
conjunction with the secretary of the club, obtain all the
necessary information, as per the marked catalogues of the
different clubs, from the Club or KUSA, to enable them to keep the
points of each eligible competitor up to date after each show. The
decision of the committee on winners of this competition is final
as per the power vested in the committee by the constitution of
the club. |
