THE WESTERN PROVINCE BULL TERRIER CLUB OBJECTIVES

As per the constitution of the W P B TC -
1.	The club is affiliated to and is recognized by the Kennel Union of Southern Africa and is therefore part of organised dogdom in Southern Africa.

2.	Through our affiliation with the Kennel Union of Southern Africa, we are associated with all other Bull Terrier Clubs and other Dog Clubs in Southern Africa and therefore the world.

3.	The objectives of the club are:
	(a)	To promote, encourage, foster and advance the breeding, well being of and interest in the Bull Terrier Breed of dogs.
	(b)	To maintain observance of and adherence to the Breed Standard of the Bull Terrier Breed of dogs, as adopted from time to time by the Kennel Union of Southern Africa.
	(c)	To organize and hold shows, match meetings, competitions in breed, obedience, working trails and other dog activities, recognized by the Kennel Union of Southern Africa, including training of such activities.
	(d)	To promote goodwill among all people interested in purebred pedigree dogs as well as towards purebred pedigreed dogs.
	(e)	To promote an exemplary professional standard of conduct among Bull Terrier Breeders (Who as well as being members of the club are all affiliated to the Kennel Union of Southern Africa)
	(f)	To do other logical things that are conductive to the attainment of all or any of the objectives of the club.

4.	Membership The membership of the club is and shall be open to any person who is not disqualified or suspended by the Kennel Union of Southern Africa.

If you as a member or any other person wishing to become a member needs any help or assistance about club matters or about our beloved breed - The Bull Terrier, or if you have anything positive or constructive to contribute to dogdom, feel free to contact the Secretary who will assist you in getting the correct unbiased advice through the affiliation and association of the club with organized dogdom and the veterinarian society, or to get your contribution to the right person.
